Average Weekly Wage (AWW) - This is your average amount of weekly wages in the 13 weeks before your injury date.  Weekly benefits are determined by a percentage of this number.

Impairment Rating - This is a percentage of permanent physical disability to a part of your body resulting from a work injury.  For example, an impairment rating of 10% related to an injury to your back results in 40 weeks of disability.

Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI) -  This term is basically the point when your medical condition from the work injury is as good as it is going to get.
